Bulletproof Keto Coffee

I had a ton of Instagram requests for the coffee I drink in the morning called Bulletproof Coffee so I decided to share with you guys how I’m making mine every morning at home.

This bulletproof coffee recipe takes under 5 mins to make and is so easy!! I make it every single morning. I think it is very beneficial for my intermittent fasting that I am doing during Keto. That calls for an entire other blog post… But in short, I like to fast from 8pm to 12 noon the next morning. I will make sure I eat for the day in an 8 hr window from 12 noon to 8 pm at night. To make the Bulletproof coffee, you will need to make sure you have enough of the following ingredients: coffee, grass-fed butter, and MCT oil or coconut oil. I also added some ground cinnamon to add some more flavor. DO NOT just stir it up with a spoon once everything is mixed because the oils will settle on top. I did this the first day I made it and all of the oil upset my stomach because I did not blend it well. Make sure to blend it or froth it so it’s mixed well. I like to use this frother because it’s so much easier than blending and only $8!

What is Bulletproof Coffee?

Bulletproof coffee is a creamy, delicious coffee drink that will fuel you with energy in the morning and suppress appetite. If you’re a coffee lover and looking for a good keto coffee recipe or just a new and tasty coffee recipe, you will LOVE this recipe!

Health Benefits of Bulletproof Coffee:

  • I like to start my morning right with this creamy coffee recipe because it suppresses appetite

  • It is keto friendly + sugar free and high in fat, which is perfect for the Keto diet

  • Gives you a steady boost of energy without a caffeine crash - As we all know coffee usually gives you a caffeine buzz in the beginning, which essentially leads to a crash later on. Bulletproof coffee is meant to give you a longer, steadier boost of energy to last throughout the morning.

  • Healthy fats from butter & MCT oil help will stop hunger pains that are common with coffee

What is MCT oil?

MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides or medium chain fatty acids. This type of fat is most often derived from coconut oil or palm oil.

  • Provides quick/clean energy

  • Can help you lose unwanted fat

  • Supports immune health
